Picture Discussion
- Focus on providing explanations and interpretations.
- Use appropriate and extensive vocabulary.
- Use appropriate tenses.
- Ensure accuracy of sentence structures and grammar (tense, verb agreement, prepositions, etc.)
- Refrain from providing one-word answers.
Conversation
- Topic will be related to the theme for the READING ALOUD and PICTURE DISCUSSION sections.
- Use appropriate and extensive vocabulary.
- Ensure accuracy of sentence structures and grammar.
- Give intelligent personal responses, elaborate on responses given and introduce ideas related to topic.
- Speak clearly and confidently and always maintain eye contact.
