Dictation 10 - Earthquake

A massive earthquake rocked the town, causing wholesale devastation. In the aftermath of the earthquake, there was utter chaos. People ran for cover under the hail of flying glass and debris. After the quake, John walked around the area, trying to assess the extent of the destruction. Roads and bridges had collapsed and buildings had been reduced to rubble. It was a grisly scene. Rescue workers grimly shifted through the rubble with the faint hope of finding survivors.
