Dictation 5 - Falling

Falling

Kate angrily ripped Peter’s glasses from his face and tossed them out of the window. Horrified, Peter watched his glasses plummeting eleven floors.

“You’re in big trouble!” he cried out.

Feeling guilty, Kate went down to retrieve the glasses. The lift seemed to descend more slowly than usual. When the doors opened, she hurtled out in a tearing hurry. Then she tripped over a low wall, lost her footing and was sent sprawling onto the pavement. Painfully, she limped over to where the glasses lay, shattered into a million pieces! Tired and bruised, Kate slumped down onto the grass and waited for Peter.
